Acquiring Forbidden Knowledge

Text on the meme

acquiring the forbidden knowledge of the ancients (attending class)

What it means

A bearded wizard in flowing robes dramatically summons glowing energy from an open book while standing among ancient ruins and magical instruments. The joke treats attending class as if it were acquiring dangerous forbidden knowledge from the ancients, exaggerating ordinary studying into an epic occult ritual.
