Taylor Swift Without Basic White Girls

Text on the meme

Taylor swift if basic white girls didn’t exist

What it means

A fast-cut video shows someone handling deli ingredients and assembling food, followed by clips of Tom and Daffy Duck looking confused and defeated. The caption jokes that Taylor Swift’s entire musical identity would disappear without basic white girls as her core audience. Depeche Mode’s upbeat synth-pop song “Just Can’t Get Enough” makes the absurd montage feel even more energetic and playful.
