>be me >be high school kissless virgin >is dress-up week st my school >come in creative costume >close friend/girl i’m in love with likes it >wants to take a picture with me >she puts my arm around her >camera takes a second to boot-up >be perfectly happy just making contact with her, feeling close to her >be happy all day >pic related

What it means

A socially awkward high-school student in a costume gets a photo taken with the girl he loves. When she puts his arm around her, he becomes perfectly happy simply from the physical contact and closeness, even before the picture is taken. The joke is an exaggerated, bittersweet reaction to having almost no romantic experience, often shared as a relatable virgin or anime-loving reaction meme.
