SpongeBob Brings Peace to His Empire

Text on the meme

I DID IT OBI-WAN, I HAVE BROUGHT PEACE, FREEDOM, JUSTICE AND SECURITY TO MY NEW EMPIRE!

What it means

SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star stand in a burning, ruined city while SpongeBob proudly declares that he has brought peace, freedom, justice, and security to his new empire. The caption parodies Anakin Skywalker’s line from Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, making the cheerful characters’ claim absurd against the apocalyptic background. It is used as a reaction to someone achieving “peace” through destructive or authoritarian means.
