A 20-Year-Old Console in Reality

Text on the meme

A 20 year old console in my mind A 20 year old console in reality

What it means

A Nintendo Game Boy is shown as the idealized image of a 20-year-old console, while a blue Nintendo DS is shown as the reality. The joke comes from misremembering the age of gaming hardware and confusing two different generations of handheld consoles. It is sent as a nostalgic reaction to exaggerated memories of how old something is.
