Evolution of Straight-Arm Strength

The evolution of straight arm strength in calisthenics 1910s 1930s 1960s 1980s INTERNATIONAL GYMNAST 2020s

A man performs an advanced straight-arm calisthenics hold outdoors, followed by archival black-and-white and competition footage showing increasingly difficult gymnastics and strength poses from the 1910s through the 2020s. The joke is the exaggerated “evolution” from early gymnastic feats to an absurdly powerful modern planche, amplified by Rammstein’s industrial-metal song “Sonne,” whose dramatic intensity makes the progression feel epic and over-the-top.
