Crab Lesbians Text Exchange

Text on the meme

Are these crabs havin a shag I'm actually not sure. Those look like two females, but maybe? The males, which latch onto the back, are notably smaller. Woa Lesbians....

What it means

A text-message exchange shows a photo of two crabs appearing to mate. One person asks whether the crabs are having sex, while the reply explains crab mating and notes that the smaller males attach to the females’ backs. The punchline is the abrupt conclusion that the crabs must be lesbians, making this a reaction meme for misinterpreting a situation in a funny way.
