Child's Boat Jump Ends Badly
Directed by ROBERT B. WEIDE
A man holds a small girl wearing inflatable arm rings over the side of a boat and drops her into the sea. The floaties pop back up as the clip cuts to the classic “Directed by ROBERT B. WEIDE” end card, turning an ordinary swim into an absurd disaster-comedy punchline. Luciano Michelini’s orchestral instrumental “Il barone rosso” adds a dramatic, mock-cinematic mood that makes the fall feel hilariously overproduced.
