Childhood Drawing Burnout
burnout As a kid, I could never stop drawing. It came to the point I could fill an entire desk with it to the brim. I loved every second of it I don't know what the hell happened now though
A two-panel comic contrasts a child enthusiastically covering a desk with drawings with an exhausted adult woman sitting at a desk, unable to draw. The joke is about creative burnout: something once loved becomes difficult or impossible with age, despite having been a passionate hobby in childhood.
