Rapture or Eternal punishment for Chiyo-Chan? Rapture!!! Punishment! Punishment! Punishment! Punishment! Punishment!

What it means

Chiyo-Chan from Azumanga Daioh stands in front of several classmates labeled “Punishment!”, while the lower panel shows her crying in a fiery hellscape. The joke contrasts the promise of rapture with Chiyo’s apparent eternal punishment, using exaggerated anime suffering as a reaction to an awful situation.
