Anime Is Better Than Evangelion

Text on the meme

What it means

A young man kisses a woman while an anime collage and a large anime cover appear below with a greater-than sign. The joke is that he confidently claimed the assorted anime was better than the highlighted title, prompting an exaggerated romantic reaction. It is used as an absurd anime-fan reaction meme for defending one’s favorite shows.
