Pretending to Use My Phone

Text on the meme

Whenever My internet isn’t working I pull out this piece of paper and pretend I’m on my phone

What it means

A person holds up a printed image of a phone-like social media screen when the internet is not working, pretending to use their phone. The joke is absurdly literal: instead of fixing the connection, they simulate being online with a piece of paper. It is used as a reaction to bad internet, fake productivity, or pretending to be busy.
