Visiting His Dad in Jail

Text on the meme

Visiting his dad in jail "How did he get out?" He. One of Us.

What it means

A video shows a gorilla sitting behind a glass enclosure while another gorilla approaches and reaches toward the viewer. The comments frame the scene as a prisoner visiting his father in jail, then jokingly ask how he escaped before concluding that the gorilla is “one of us.” The calm aquatic ambient music makes the absurd zoo footage feel oddly dramatic and deadpan.
