Remember Them These Are Them Now

Text on the meme

Remember them? These are them now

What it means

A collage compares classic rage comic faces from the early meme era with newer, redesigned versions of similar characters. The joke is a nostalgic “where are they now?” comparison, treating obsolete internet meme faces as if they had grown up or evolved. It is used as a reaction to old memes returning in a modernized form.
