Adulthood Knows Shadow Is Based

>Childhood is thinking Shadow is based >Adolescence is thinking he's cringe >Adulthood is knowing Shadow is based. >"When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."

An image of Shadow the Hedgehog holding a gun, paired with a text progression from childhood admiration to adolescent embarrassment and back to adult appreciation. The joke is that growing up reveals Shadow’s exaggerated edginess as genuinely cool, while the quotation humorously frames this fandom reversal as mature wisdom.
