Ernst Jünger Missed the Rebuilds
Ernst Jünger Jünger in 1920 Born 29 March 1895 Heidelberg, Grand Duchy of Baden, German Empire Died 17 February 1998 (aged 102) Riedlingen, Germany
A black-and-white portrait of Ernst Jünger is shown in a Wikipedia-style biographical panel. The joke is that Jünger could have watched Neon Genesis Evangelion, but died before the Rebuild films were released, turning his age and historical distance into an absurd anime reaction.
