Favorite Drink Interview Question

When are the stupid questions during interviews going to stop? I had an interview and part way through, the interviewer asked me what my favorite drink is and I said water. He gave me a weird look and said “C’mon, you can do better than that”. I didn’t know what to say so I didn’t say anything and we just sat there and looked at each other for about 15 seconds in silence. He stops the interview and said I’m not what they are looking for. I’m not sure what that was all about, but I feel like I dodged a bullet.
