Statue of Liberty on the Planet of the Apes

How did they get the Statue of Liberty from Earth to the Planet of the Apes? It was never explained.

The joke references Planet of the Apes, where the Statue of Liberty’s presence on an alien planet is a famous mystery, and humorously points out that the film never explained how it got there.
