GEORGE ORWELL 1984 The UK fucking sucks Totalitarianism destroys our memories of the past, and our perception of the world, and the human spirit itself CLIVE OWEN JULIANNE MOORE MICHAEL CAINE CHILDREN OF MEN Hope and faith are powerful things, even in the bleakest circumstances The UK fucking sucks V FOR VENDETTA ALAN MOORE DAVID LLOYD Fascism is a destructive ideology, and while freedom isn’t always easy, it’s still worth fighting for The UK fucking sucks

The joke is the absurd mismatch between the repeated anti-UK caption and the thoughtful messages from 1984, Children of Men, and V for Vendetta.
