I Specifically Requested Not to Be Afraid

Text on the meme

Why is everyone afraid? I specifically requested not to be afraid.

What it means

A bald security guard stands with his arms out while giant white angel wings covered in eyes surround him. He asks why everyone is afraid, then insists that he specifically requested not to be afraid, parodying the frightening biblical description of angels and the phrase “be not afraid.” The meme is sent as an absurd reaction to something unsettling or terrifying.
