Leon Kennedy Listening to Mitski

“leon kennedy listens to lana del rey” “leon kennedy listens to mitski” resident evil 4 was released in 2005. my mans was listening to evanescence and linkin park

Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 4 is shown reclining in a vehicle while the caption jokes that, despite the imagined claim that he listens to Lana Del Rey or Mitski, he was actually listening to Evanescence and Linkin Park. The joke contrasts a modern indie-pop stereotype with the early-2000s emo and alternative rock associated with the 2005 game. It is used as a nostalgic reaction meme about someone having an unexpectedly different taste in music.
