He Beat the Kids’ Library Contest

Text on the meme

Eight years ago I entered the local library’s library card design contest not knowing it was for children and absolutely dominated. Then they made me accept the award at city hall with the kids I beat. 😂 FULLERTON CITY HALL 303 W. COMMONWEALTH AVENUE Fullerton Public Library

What it means

Trevor Rogers jokes that he won a children’s library card design contest so decisively that he had to accept the award alongside the children he defeated. The humor comes from an adult treating a children’s contest like a serious competition and proudly celebrating the absurd victory.
