Request Review Aaron Lea 8h A lesson in AI art- So, yesterday I posted a fb marketplace ad for a used, beat up 1976 Mohishwa JRR4, a Japanese flying car. This does not exist, as nearly 50 years later there are still not consumer level flying cars. I made the image in Midjourney AI art program. My listing got over 25,000 views, over 1,000 shares and over 500 saves. I got dozens of messages, maybe 3 called me out on it being fake, the rest were very interested. Woke up this morning to a blocked fb account. Logged in to get a message that I had a permanent fb marketplace ban. Requested a review and got everything restored within less than 5 min, but lesson learned. The moral of the story is that yes, you can get in trouble for trolling marketplace with fake AI listings. (But it sure was funny to me lol)
What it means

The meme shows a fake Facebook Marketplace listing for a beat-up 1976 Mohishwa JRR4, supposedly a Japanese flying car, alongside Facebook’s ban notice and the seller’s explanation. The joke is that an AI-generated car looked convincing enough to attract thousands of views and serious buyers, but Facebook banned the account for posting a nonexistent vehicle. It is shared as a reaction to convincing AI fakery, online trolling, or absurd marketplace situations.
