People Who Read vs Write

Text on the meme

People who read People who write

What it means

The top panel shows stylish illustrated people labeled “People who read,” while the bottom shows a disheveled person writing on the floor, labeled “People who write.” The joke exaggerates the contrast between the polished image of readers and the chaotic, desperate stereotype of writers. It is sent as a self-deprecating reaction by people struggling to write or create.
