False Eyes Real Eyes

false eyes real eyes false eyes real eyes

A two-panel comparison shows a strange dark creature with oversized orange markings circled as its “false eyes,” while its actual eyes are labeled lower down. The bottom panel mirrors the joke with a bald man whose glasses-like markings are called false eyes and his real eyes are pointed out beneath them. It is used as an absurd reaction meme about mistaking something decorative or misplaced for the real thing.
