Linus Tech Tips Slur Confusion
NOOOO LINUS TECH TIPS! THE HARD R IS A REFERENCE TO THE WIDELY KNOWN RACIAL SLUR. NOT THE ABLEIST SLUR COMMONLY USED AGAINST PEOPLE WITH AUTISM!!
Walter White screams from inside a car in a screenshot from Breaking Bad. The joke reacts to a clarification that “the hard R” refers to a racial slur rather than an ableist slur associated with autism, exaggerating the confusion for absurd effect. It is sent as an angry or shocked reaction to controversial wording and internet discourse.
