Europeans See American Highways

Europeans when they see North American car infrastructure

A rapid montage shows a shocked anime-style character reacting with bulging eyes and an open mouth, followed by aerial views of enormous freeway interchanges, dense traffic, and a broad city highway. The joke is that Europeans supposedly react with disbelief to the scale and car dependence of North American road infrastructure. Electronic music by Mr. Blindbandit, “Genesis,” gives the escalation a dramatic, surreal, and frantic mood that heightens the reaction.
