From Straight Girl to Fallen Legend

Text on the meme

2019 she/her straight 2021 they/them lesbian punished snake A FALLEN LEGEND

What it means

A short transformation video shows an illustrated woman labeled “2019 / she/her / straight,” then a red-haired androgynous person labeled “2021 / they/them / lesbian,” before cutting to Punished Snake in a dark dramatic portrait. The joke treats a change in gender identity and sexuality as an increasingly intense character-development arc, ending with an exaggerated “fallen legend” reveal. Dramatic music gives the transition an epic, mock-serious tone, making the punchline feel like a trailer for a tragic antihero origin story.
