Ukraine's Epic War Story
🇺🇦 Ukraine is hosting one of the great epics of this century “We are Harry Potter and William Wallace, the Na’vi and Han Solo. We’re escaping from Shawshank and blowing up the Death Star. We are fighting with the Harkonnens and challenging Thanos.” [9/10]
A screenshot of a NATO post presents Ukraine’s war as an epic crossover adventure, comparing Ukrainians to heroes from Harry Potter, Braveheart, Avatar, Star Wars, The Shawshank Redemption, Dune, and Marvel. The joke is the exaggerated, cinematic framing of a devastating real-world war as a nearly perfect fictional saga.
