Predator and Prey Vision

Predator SEEN BY BOTH EYES SEEN BY LEFT EYE SEEN BY RIGHT EYE Prey SEEN BY BOTH EYES SEEN BY LEFT EYE SEEN BY RIGHT EYE

A two-panel diagram compares the wide peripheral vision of prey with the forward-facing binocular vision of predators. Below it, a serious-looking man is contrasted with an extreme close-up of a grinning, wide-eyed bearded man wearing glasses. The joke is that the prey’s visual field resembles the frantic, distorted reaction face, making this useful as an absurd reaction meme for feeling overwhelmed or hyper-alert.
