The Secret to Life Is Candy
A Chinese philosopher asked an Arab man: “What’s the secret to life?” The Arab smiled and took two candies out of his pocket. He opened one and ate it quickly, then he opened and ate the other one. “I love candy” he said.
A grayscale statue of a philosopher appears beside a joke about an Arab man being asked about the secret to life. Instead of giving profound wisdom, he eats two candies and says, “I love candy,” turning the philosophical question into a deliberately simple and absurd punchline. It is used as a reaction to express enjoying simple pleasures or giving an unexpectedly literal answer.
