That's Called an Addiction

Can't wait to gamble today. Literally shaking. That's called dedication. That's called an addiction Buddy, I've been gambling everyday for 20+ years. It's all I think about and I still haven't gotten addicted so doubt it's happening.

A Twitter exchange shows one person excitedly anticipating gambling and calling their shaking “dedication.” Another user points out that this is addiction, but the gambler insists that decades of constant gambling have not made them addicted. The joke is the obvious denial and self-contradiction, making it useful as a reaction to people refusing to acknowledge a problem.
