LOTR Fans Hear the Toe Tragedy
LOTR fans after watching the scene with Aragorn kicking the helmet Did you ever hear the tragedy of Viggo Mortensen's toe?
A shot of Gandalf and Frodo is captioned as a dramatic conversation about Viggo Mortensen injuring his toe while kicking a helmet in The Lord of the Rings. The joke parodies a serious film monologue by treating the behind-the-scenes injury as a legendary tragedy.
