In A.D. 2023 War Was Beginning
IN A.D. 2023 WAR WAS BEGINNING.
A dark space scene shows a small fiery explosion or battle in the distance beneath retro pixelated text declaring that war was beginning in A.D. 2023. The joke presents an ordinary year as the dramatic opening of an absurd science-fiction war epic, making it useful as an ironic reaction to escalating real-life events.
