Ukraine marked as Wild Fields

Text on the meme

KIEV UKRAINE CRIMEA AZOV SEA OTTOMAN EMPIRE

What it means

A blurry historical map of Eastern Europe has a thick red outline drawn around the pink territory labelled Ukraine. The joke, reinforced by the attached Russian caption, is that someone searches for a map without the word “Russia” to win an argument, only to find their own country labelled as uncivilized “Wild Fields.”
