Sabra in Captain America
a what in a movie called WHAT Shira Haas has been cast as Israeli superheroine Sabra in ‘CAPTAIN AMERICA NEW WORLD ORDER’. #D23Expo MARVEL STUDIOS CAPTAIN AMERICA NEW WORLD ORDER
A Twitter screenshot reacts in disbelief to news that Shira Haas was cast as the Israeli superheroine Sabra in Captain America: New World Order. The joke is that the character’s name sounds absurdly generic—“a what”—especially in a film literally titled “New World Order.” It is used to mock awkward superhero names, controversial casting news, or unintentionally funny headlines.
