McDonald's All the Way to the Top

What it means

A rapid, dramatic montage from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners shows its characters confronting danger, fighting with oversized weapons, crying, and looking toward Earth from the Moon. The solemn anime imagery contrasts with the absurd voice-over promise about doing one’s best and reaching the top at McDonald’s, making it useful as an ironic reaction to exaggerated ambition or emotional overcommitment.
