Gentrified Gloryhole
They done gentrified the gloryhole Unknown Pleasures
A bathroom stall has a gloryhole covered with a stylized “Unknown Pleasures” graphic, parodying the famous Joy Division album cover. The joke is that even a grimy anonymous hookup spot has been renovated and made pretentious, so the meme is used to mock gentrification and overdesign.
