Nature Stealing Nintendo Designs

Text on the meme

Why is nature stealing these designs from Nintendo??

What it means

A four-panel comparison shows Nintendo-inspired cartoon animals beside real toucans and dolphins that look remarkably similar. The joke suggests that nature copied Nintendo’s creature designs, reversing the usual accusation that artists imitate real animals. It is used as an ironic reaction to uncanny similarities between fictional characters and wildlife.
