Drink up friends. Stoner societies Alcoholic societies

What it means

A two-panel comparison contrasts a peaceful, communal stoner society in a rural ancient-looking setting with an alcoholic society represented by a crowded classical city and a bearded ancient figure. The joke stereotypes cannabis users as pastoral and harmonious while portraying alcohol-based societies as urban and heavily tied to classical civilization. It is sent as a humorous comparison or reaction about the supposed cultural effects of drugs and alcohol.
