Fake Eye Finally Explained

Text on the meme

I never understand what was going on here, it was fake eyes, now I understand

What it means

A close-up video shows a gloved person using tweezers to pull a strange black, tentacle-like fake eye or eyelash piece from beside someone’s eye, revealing the illusion. The caption jokingly says the viewer finally understands what was happening. Jacob's Piano’s “Divenire,” a dramatic emotional piano piece, makes the absurd reveal feel comically overdramatic and suspenseful.
