What it means

A screenshot of a tweet jokes that musician Lou Reed posted a My Little Pony meme comparing Twilight Sparkle with his experimental album Metal Machine Music, then died the next day. The punchline comes from the absurdly grim coincidence between the playful pony meme and the death date shown in the background information panel. It is used as a dark-humor reaction to an unsettling coincidence or oddly timed post.
