Becoming the Person You Hated
when you become the person that you really hated
A man in a green shirt sits alone on a stepped wooden dock beside the water, staring ahead and briefly holding a phone. The caption jokes about realizing you have turned into the very person you once hated, making the quiet, emotionally detached scene an ironic reaction to personal hypocrisy or an uncomfortable similarity. The clip is set to the mellow, dreamy indie-pop song “Young” by Vacations, whose relaxed mood makes the self-realization feel wistful and darkly funny.
