Crosswalk Hero in Real Life

CROSSWALK HERO MAMBO! AS MADE FAMOUS BY FLAMINGOSIS, 2017

A real street crossing is presented like a giant arcade game. The camera moves from a car and the painted crosswalk to a yellow “CROSSWALK HERO” console, where a hand plays a rhythm-game track while the real crossing signal and traffic remain in view. The joke is the absurd contrast between casually gamifying pedestrian safety and the ordinary street scene, making it a reaction to overcomplicating everyday tasks.
