Getting Jumped by Funny Women

Text on the meme

Pov: you’re getting jumped by a group of funny women

What it means

A bearded man in a green shirt lies on the carpet, shielding his face as if he is being attacked, then the camera reveals legs in dark trousers and socks before the person ducks behind a stair gate. The joke is a bait-and-switch: the supposedly dangerous group of “funny women” turns out to be one person playfully staging an absurd ambush. Martin O'Donnell & Michael Salvatori’s dramatic video-game music, “Tribute,” heightens the mock-epic tension and makes the silly reveal funnier.
