Szechuan Sauce and Biological Warfare

The video opens with a close-up of food while a lively introduction announces that Szechuan teriyaki dipping sauce is back. It then abruptly pairs the upbeat presentation with grim archival-looking footage, anthrax imagery, a U.S. Army biological-warfare document, insects, Cambridge University imagery, and a quotation about biological warfare against Korea and China. The joke comes from the extreme tonal mismatch between cheerful fast-food-style music and a disturbing historical accusation, making the sauce announcement a deliberately absurd setup for a dark political-history monologue. What's up guys, Szechuan sauce is back! Szechuan teriyaki dipping sauce! Wanna know something else? After World War II, the US granted immunity to the leader of Japanese unit 731, who conducted biological weapons experiments in China. Chinese prisoners would be infected with plague and other diseases, then dissected alive without anesthetic. They would then be pickled in jars of formaldehyde. Chiroishi and others were granted immunity by the United States in exchange for data for their biological weapons program. And during the Korean War, the United States had used what they learned on the people of China and Korea by dropping disease-ridden insects and bombs containing bacteria. That's according to the report from the World Peace Council scientific commission, which included Dr. Joseph Needham for Cambridge University. The report contained over 600 pages of research interviews and photos of bombs. Their conclusion? The peoples of Korea and China have indeed been the objectives of bacteriological weapons. These have been employed by units of the USA Armed Forces, which seem to be developments of those applied by the Japanese during the Second World War.
