Favorite Anime Imperialism
Favorite anime? We oppose all forms of Japanese imperialism.
A mock Twitter exchange asks for a favorite anime, and the reply rejects all forms of Japanese imperialism. The punchline is the absurd contrast between anti-imperialist rhetoric and the image of an extremely muscular man dramatically using a laptop, implying anime fandom is being treated as a political allegiance.
