Forgot What ABS Looks Like
OMG I FORGOT WHAT ABS LOOK LIKE- It was mandated in the USA in 2013 and 2004 in the UK Anti-lock Brake System
A woman covers her mouth in disbelief before the clip cuts to a ChrisFix-style automotive tutorial showing ABS pumps in a workshop, a Jaguar, and a pickup truck. The joke is the exaggerated reaction to forgetting what an ABS system looks like, followed by an overly detailed visual explanation of the anti-lock braking system. The upbeat music and quick whooshing transitions make the serious car lesson feel like a dramatic reaction meme.
That house could be gang of a first cry. Hey guys Chris Fix here. Visual learning is my specialty. Do I have a treat for you? This right here is an ABS pump and how it works is... well, let me show you real quick. I'll show you in the Jag. So this is the ABS pump in the Jag and how it works is the computer sends a signal to the pump and when one wheel slows more than all the other wheels. So you're braking hard when wheel locks up so it slows or stops it will pulse that wheels brakes so that it doesn't lock up anymore. So that's that on the Jag if we go over here to this Honda the ABS is located right here you can see it right there and if we go to my pickup truck you can see the ABS they switch it up here it's on the other side now ABS stands for anti-lock braking system very important to have it's super helpful and I'm a visual learner myself so I totally get it hopefully this was helpful.
