Boiling Outside My Sausage

Text on the meme

The water is only boiling on the outside of my sausage

What it means

A sausage sits in a pan of vigorously boiling water while beans cook in a pot behind it. The joke is a literal visual interpretation of an absurd complaint, making it useful as a reaction to something that appears active or dramatic on the surface but is not actually working inside.
