Mourning Dove Says Hi

hoooo hooooooo omg the sound of a mourning dove!!!! hi!!!!

A crude two-panel drawing shows a stick figure in a chaotic scribbled scene, followed by a pigeon-like mourning dove making a long “hoooo” sound. The speaker excitedly recognizes the bird’s coo as the sound of a mourning dove and greets it, making the joke work through exaggerated confusion and enthusiasm. It is useful as an absurd reaction to hearing a bird call or noticing something obvious.
